Planta!Tracker App Terms of Use

Please read these terms of use carefully before using the Planta!Tracker application.

1. Information we collect

By using the Planta!Tracker app, you agree that we may collect your name, email, and the date and location of each photo you take using the app.

2. Use of information

The information collected is used solely for the purpose of reporting plant distribution. We will not share your email with third parties, except in the cases specified in our privacy policy. Your name will be displayed to give you credit for authoring your photos.

3. Data storage

You understand and agree that all information collected by the Planta!Tracker application, including your personal data and photos you take, will be stored on servers located in Canada. We are committed to maintaining the security of your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

4. Photo license

All photos taken using the Planta!Tracker app are automatically licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This means that others can use, share, and adapt your photos with proper attribution to you as the original creator.

5. Changes to the terms of use

We reserve the right to modify these terms of use at any time without prior notice. You will be notified of any significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the application after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new terms.
